それは、不動であった建築物がつくる「空間」を流動的なものへと変化させ、まちの人自らが場所づくりに簡単に関われる方法の実践です。
すなわち、まちの物理的な「空間」と住人の具体的な暮らしの間の不自由を調停し、畳まれながらも持続していく縮小する社会でのまちづくりの一つの手法を示すものです。

I developed a quasi-architectural open-ended system
that can be put to practical use and be expanded in many different places by anyone.
Its uncomplicated implementation, in contrast to traditional static architecture,
transforms space into a fluid space that is made by everyone in the neighbourhood and turned into their own. The system mediates the existing discomfort between the fixed physical town space and the tangible livelihood
of people and shows one method for town planning in the shrinking yet enduring society of Japan.
